Evans A J Rfn 20th Kings Royal Rifle Corps Alfred John Evans (Town Department, Fetter Lane) was only 14 years old on the outbreak of war. He enlisted in October 1918 in the 20th Bn. King's Royal Rifle Corps. After the armistice he was transferred to No. 5 Field Ambulance, R.A.M.C., in the Army of Occupation. He was demobilised in April 1920.
