Fordham C R Pte 321024 12th Norfolk Regiment Charles Robert Fordham (Foundry) enlisted in August 1916 in the 3rd Bn. Norfolk Regt., whence he was afterwards transferred to the Norfolk Yeomanry. From February 1917 to April 1918 he served in Egypt and Palestine, taking part in the capture of Jerusalem. In May 1918 his unit was transferred to France, where he served until the following September.
