Gilby G F Pte 71095 Royal Defence Corps George Fuller Gilby (Compositor) enlisted in the Cambridgeshire Regt. (T.F.) in April 1916. In the following September he joined the 2nd Bn. Lincolnshire Regt. in France, and served with them as a Lewis gunner until January 1917, when he was invalided home with "trench foot." He was afterwards transferred to the Royal Defence Corps.
