Hoye W Cpl Machine Gun Corps William Hoye (Monotype Department) enlisted in April 1915 and went to France a year later. For the greater part of his service he was in the Machine Gun Corps and he attained the rank of Corporal. He served in France for 3 years, and on one occasion he was gassed.
