Hustwitt C B Pte G/65399 4th Royal Fusiliers Claude Bernard Hustwitt (Bible Department, Fetter Lane), who had had 5 years service with the Territorial Force (City of London Rifles) prior to the war, attested in December 1915 and was called up in August 1916. He was posted to the 3rd Bn. The Buffs (E. Kent Regt.), and was afterwards transferred to the 4th Bn. Royal Fusiliers; he was ultimately attached to the 35th Field Ambulance, R.A.M.C. He served in France from December 1916 until his demobilisation in January 1919.
