Pitt F S Pte R/19369 4th Kings Royal Rifle Corps Frank Stanley Pitt (Warehouse, Fetter Lane) enlisted in January 1916 in the King's Royal Rifle Corps. He went to France in July 1916, and during his service there he became a qualified Lewis gunner. He was wounded at Le Catelet on October 3rd, 1918, during the British advance, and was admitted to a Base hospital. He afterwards served in the Army of Occupation in Germany.
