Sanderson E R L/Cpl 225115 9th Northamptonshire Regiment Edward Rowell Sanderson (Art Department) enlisted in September 1914 in the Cambridgeshire Regt. (T.F.). He went with the 1/1st Bn. to France in February 1915 and served there until May 1916, when he was invalided home. He was afterwards transferred to the 9th Bn. Northamptonshire Regt. He was promoted Lance-Corporal in 1917, and was demobilised in January 1919.
