Stanford C Pte 125555 Royal Army Medical Corps Charles Stanford (Store Room) was mobilised on the outbreak of war with the Cambridgeshire Regt. (T.F.), in which he had already been serving for some time. In February 1915 he was discharged as medically unfit, but in July 1917 he rejoined the Army, enlisting in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He served in France with the 88th Field Ambulance from April 1918 until his demobilisation in May 1919.
