Taylor W J Pte Royal Engineers William Joseph Taylor (Establishment Staff) had served in the Territorial Force for a year prior to the outbreak of war. He was mobilised with the Cambridgeshire Regt. in August 1914, but was later transferred to the Royal Engineers. He went to France in March 1916, and after 14 months service in that country he went with his unit to Italy, where he remained until his demobilisation in March 1919.
