2ND LIEUTENANT ROBERT ADAMSON, 98 Irish Street, Dumfries. Enlisted November 1914 in 18th Royal Fusiliers (1st Public School's Battalion). Received Commission 27th September 1916, 3rd Battalion King's Own Scottish Borderers. Served in France November 1915 to May 1916, and January 1917 to July 1917. Discharged September 1917 on account of ill-health contracted on Active Service.
CAPTAIN EDWARD MURRAY MAYNE ALEXANDER, 6 Darnaway Street, Edinburgh. Enlisted in November 1914. Received Commission as 1st Lieutenant 30th November 1914, and as Captain 20th December 1914, Seaforth Highlanders. Served in France May to July 1916, and October 1917 to April 1918. Wounded (Somme) 14th July 1916. Wounded, losing leg, Wytschaete, 16th April 1918.
LIEUTENANT GAVIN LEITH ALLARDYCE, M.C.,122 George Street, Edinburgh. Enlisted 2nd Honourable Artillery Company Infantry May 1915. Received Commission, 2nd Lieutenant 7th Gordon Highlanders, December 1916. Served at Battle of Arras, April 1917 ; Third Battle of Ypres, July 1917 ; First Battle of Cambrai, November-December 1917 ; Second Battle of Somme, March 1918; Second Battle of Cambrai, October 1918. Twice wounded. Taken prisoner 20th October 1918. Awarded Military Cross.
