Carder A R Bmdr Royal Garrison Artillery Arthur Ricker Carder (Machine-minder) enlisted in the Royal Garrison Artillery in May 1917. He went overseas in June 1917 and served successively in Belgium, France, and Germany before his return on demobilisation in March 1919. In September 1917 he was wounded and gassed. He was promoted Bombardier in March 1918.
