Clark G W L/Sergt
13th Devonshire Regiment
George William Clark (Gas Engine Room) was 37 years of age on the outbreak of war, and was at that time a Corporal in the Territorial Force with years service. He was mobilised with the Cambridgeshire Regt., but was transferred to the 13th Bn. Devon Regt., and afterwards to the Southern Command Labour Centre. He was promoted Lance-Sergeant in 1916 and Sergeant in 1917.
