Hagan W L Cpl 1st Cambridgeshire Regiment 
William Lewis Hagan (Apprentice compositor) was mobilised with the Cambridgeshire Regt. on the outbreak of war, having already served years in the Territorial Force, and being at that time a Lance-Corporal. He was promoted Corporal in February 1916, and in the following December he went to France. He returned to England in July 1917 and was for a time Instructor in Drill, Musketry, and Lewis Gun. In February 1918 he was attached to the Royal Flying Corps as Drill Instructor and was duly transferred to the Royal Air Force in the following April. He was demobilised in February 1919.
