Lilley A Pte 1st Cambridgeshire Regiment Albert Lilley (Machine Room), being in the Territorial Force prior to the war, was mobilised on August 4th, 1914. He served successively in the 1st Bn. Cambridgeshire Regt., Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regt.), 2/4th Bn. Cameron Highlanders, and Royal Army Medical Corps. He went to France in September 1918 and served there until the following April, when he returned to England for demobilisation.
