Pilsworth C Pte 325386 1st Cambridgeshire Regiment Charles Pilsworth (Warehouse) enlisted in the Cambridgeshire Regt. (T.F.) immediately on the outbreak of war. He went to France with the 1/1st Bn. in February 1915, was wounded slightly in October 1916, and was wounded again more seriously in February 1917 and sent to hospital in England. One year later he returned to France and served there for the remainder of the war, and until his demobilisation in April 1919. He Was awarded the Military Medal in 1918.
