Sewell A R Pte 325481 1st Cambridgeshire Regiment Alfred Randolph Sewell (Foundry) was mobilised on the outbreak of war with the Cambridgeshire Regt. (T.F.), in which he had already had nearly a year's service. He went to France with the 1/1st Bn. in February 1915 and was severely wounded in the following May. After his recovery he was transferred, under Army Regulations, to work on Munitions.
