Sewell T H L/Cpl 32552 1st Cambridgeshire Regiment Thomas Henry Sewell (Monotype operator) was serving in the Territorial Force when war was declared and was mobilised with the Cambridgeshire Regt. in August 1914. He was promoted Lance-Corporal in September 1915, and in October 1916 he joined the British Expeditionary Force. In August 1917 he was invalided home after an operation. He was afterwards transferred to the Cambs. and Suffolk (Res.) Bn., and was promoted Corporal in June 1918.
