Arthur Bevan Simmonds (Art Department) enlisted in May 1915 in the 2/1st Suffolk Yeomanry; he was afterwards transferred successively to the 3rd Bn. Suffolk Regt., 6th Bn. Royal Munster Fusiliers, and the Labour Corps. He saw active service in Salonika, Egypt, and Palestine, and was wounded in March 1918.
