Symonds A L Pte 1413 1st Cambridgeshire Regiment Ambrose Linton Symonds (Apprentice compositor) was mobilised on the outbreak of war with the Cambridgeshire Regt. (T.F.), in which he had already had 2 years service. He went to France with the 1/1st Bn. in February 1915 and was severely wounded exactly a month later. He was discharged as medically unfit in the following July.
