JAMES SOMERLED FORSYTH, Isle of Mull.
Enlisted in 63rd Canadians in August 1915. Served in France from August till November 1916. Taken prisoner, and was eighteen months in Germany and Switzerland. Repatriated to England in June 1918, and discharged in Canada in December 1918 as unfit for further service, owing to wounds received at Battle of the Somme.

CAPTAIN ROWLAND FRASER, Invermay, Perth. (Apprentice.)
Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant 1st Rifle Brigade on 15th August 1914. Served in this country and proceeded to France 4th January 1915. Promoted Lieutenant and thereafter Captain. Killed in action 1st July 1916.

LIEUTENANT IAN GALLETLY, Inchdrewer, Colinton, Midlothian. (Apprentice.)
Received Commission as 2nd Lieutenant Lowland Brigade Royal Field Artillery August 1914. Latterly attached to the Highland Division. Promoted Lieutenant. Trained in this country until October 1915. Served in France from that date until August 1916. Killed in action at Mametz Wood near Albert on 3rd August 1916.

LIEUTENANT ARTHUR WILLIAM GARDEN, Uttershill, Penicuik, Midlothian.
Gazetted Second Lieutenant in Royal Army Service Corps in September 1914. Promoted Lieutenant March 1915. Served at home and with Salonica Field Force from September 1914 to March 1919.

JOHN GAVIN (Jun.), 15 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh. (Apprentice.)
Enlisted 2nd December 1915 in 9th Royal Scots. Thereafter transferred to 469th Home Service Employment Company. Promoted Acting Sergeant. Engaged in recruiting work in this country.

2ND LIEUTENANT ROBERT GIBB, 25 East Claremont Street, Edinburgh.
Joined Royal Field Artillery as Gunner 5th August 1917. Thereafter 2nd Lieutenant Royal Army Service Corps.

CAPTAIN JAMES GILL, 26 Rutland Street, Edinburgh. (Apprentice.)
Joined Royal Garrison Artillery as a Gunner February 1916. Served in this country until April 1917 ; thereafter in France until February 1919. Promoted during service to rank of Acting Captain.
