FARRELL, F., Private, R.M.L.I. Volunteering in August 1914, he served in the Antwerp Expedition, and in April 1915 proceeded to Gallipoli, where he was wounded two months later. After service in Egypt he was drafted to France, but after seeing much fighting, was wounded on the Somme. In June 1917 he was sent to the Black Sea in H.M. Monitor 18. Returning to home waters, he was serving in H.M.S. "Resolution" in 1920, and holds the 1914 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FARROW, J., Private, R.A.S.C. Having joined in 1917, he went through a course of training, and was engaged at Aldershot on important duties with his unit. He was employed as a clerk in the Record Office, and rendered valuable services, but was not successful in obtaining his transfer overseas before the end of the war. He was demobilised in 1919.

FARROW, R. J., Private, Labour Corps. He joined in 1917, and after his training served on important duties at various stations with his unit. He was engaged in Coast Defence work and guarding German prisoners, and rendered valuable services, but was not successful in obtaining his transfer overseas before the cessation of hostilities. He was demobilised in 1919.

FARTHING, R., Sapper, R.E. Volunteering in September 1914, he was later sent to the Western Front. He was engaged at Loos, the Somme, Ypres and Kemmel, where he was gassed. He was invalided home, and afterwards transferred to Class W, Army Reserve for ship-building on the Tyne. He was discharged in January 1915, and holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FAULKES, B., A.B., Royal Fleet Reserve. He was mobilised in August 1914, and posted to HMS. "Tyne," was engaged on patrol duty from Queenstown to Gibraltar. Later he was sent to the North Sea, where he took part in the Battle of Jutland, and was afterwards transferred to Queensferry. He was demobilised in February 1919, and holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
71, Sparta Street, Lewisham, S.E.13.

FAULKNER, A. G., Private, 1st Border Regiment. Already serving at the outbreak of war, he was sent to the Dardanelles in April 1915, and fought at Krithia, Suvla Bay, Chunuk Bair and during the Evacuation. Drafted to France he took part in the Battles of Loos, St. Eloi, Albert, Vermelles and Vimy Ridge, but was killed on the Somme on July 1st, 1916, whilst attempting to rescue a wounded officer. He was entitled to the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FAULKNER, G., Rifleman, K.R.R.C. Having joined in May 1916, he was drafted to the Western Front in September and was wounded at the Battle of the Somme. In January 1917, he returned to France and was in action at Arras, Vimy Ridge, Bullecourt, Messines, Ypres, Passchendaele and Lens, where he was again wounded. Rejoining his unit in February 1918, he took part in the Retreat and Advance of 1918, and was demobilised in April 1919. He holds the General Service and Victory Medals.
5, Thames Street, Greenwich, S.E.10.

FAULKNER, H. G., Driver, R.F.A. and Corporal, Durham Light Infantry. Joining in May 1916, he was sent to Salonika in October of the same year with the Royal Irish Fusiliers. He was in action on the Struma and Doiran fronts, and took part in the last attack on the Bulgars, and was wounded. He was transferred to the 2nd Durham Light Infantry and sent home. He was demobilised in October 1919, and holds the General Service and Victory Medals.
67, Cherry Gardens Street, Rotherhithe, S.E.16.

FAULKNER, J. W., Gunner, R.G.A. He volunteered in November 1914, and in July of the following year was sent to France, where he took part in the fighting at Loos, Albert, Ploegsteert Wood, and Vimy Ridge. He was killed in action at Ypres on April 5th, 1916, and was entitled to the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FAULKNER, W. W., Pte., Buffs (East Kent Regt). He volunteered in September 1914, and in April of the following year crossed to France, where he served in many sectors of the Front. He fought at St. Eloi, Hill 60, Ypres, Festubert, and was unhappily killed in action at Loos in October 1915. He was entitled to the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FAUTLEY, H., Pte., Recruits Distribution Battalion. He joined in May 1918, and after his training was engaged at Purfleet on important duties with his unit. He rendered valuable service, but was not successful in obtaining his transfer overseas. He unfortunately met with an accident owing to which he was discharged in September 1918.

FAWCETT, E., Gunner, R.F.A. Volunteering in September 1914, he was drafted to France in December of the following year. He was in action on the Somme and at Arras and Ypres. He later contracted trench fever and was invalided home. He was demobilised in 1919, and holds the General Service and Victory Medals.
17A, Aldeburgh Street, Greenwich, S.E.10.

FEATHERSTONE, G., Pte., 6th Buffs (E. Kent Regt.) He volunteered in September 1914, and in the following year was drafted to the Western Front. He was severely wounded in the Battle of Neuve Chapelle and invalided home. After a long period in hospital he was discharged, owing to his injuries in September 1917. He holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FEELEY, A. G., Pte., 8th and 12th East Surrey Regt. Volunteering in September 1914, he served in France at St. Fricourt and Peronne, and was wounded on July 1st, 1916, during the Somme Offensive. After fighting on the Piave during the Italian campaign, he returned to the Western Front in time to take part in the Retreat of 1918 (during which he was gassed at Kemmel) and in the Advance. Demobilised in April 1919, after a period of service at Cologne with the Army of Occupation, he holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
46, Archdale Road, East Dulwich, S.E.22.

FELIX, H. A., Private, R.A.S.C. Having volunteered in November 1915, he was sent to France in the same month. He was engaged on important transport duties at Albert, the Somme, Arras, and Ypres. He also took part in the Retreat and Advance of 1918. He was demobilised in August 1919, and holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
31, East Surrey Grove, Peckham, S.E.15.

FELL, S., Sergt., 6th London Regiment (Rifles). He volunteered in April 1915, and after completing his training was sent to France. He took part in numerous engagements. including those at Loos and Messines, where he was wounded. He also served in the Retreat and Advance of 1918. He was demobilised in February 1919, and holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
64, Carlton Grove, Peckham, S.E.15.

FELLOWES, W. J., Petty Officer, 1st Class, R.N. He was already in the Royal Navy at the outbreak of war and served in H.M.S. "Hawke," He was sent to the North Sea, where he took part in important operations. He lost his life in H.M.S. "Hawke," when that vessel was torpedoed and sunk in October 1914. He was entitkd to the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

FELTHAM, G., Private, Royal Fusiliers. Volunteering in February 1915, in the following June he was sent to France. He fought at Loos, in which Battle he was severely wounded. He was invalided home and after a period in hospital, was discharged, owing to his injuries in September 1916. He holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
27, Trim Street, New Cross, S.E.14.

FENDLEY, A. F., Leading Air Mechanic, R.N.A.S., and R.A.F. He volunteered in August 1914, and after his training was engaged at Farnborough on important duties until 1916, when he was sent to France. He was stationed at Toul, whence he proceeded on bombing expeditions into Germany. He returned home in 1918, and was demobilised in February of the following year, holding the General Service and Victory Medals.
18, Wotton Road, Deptford, S.E.8.

FENLON, S. W. Private, and Cheshire Regiment. He was mobilised in August 1914, and in the following month was drafted to France, where he took part in numerous engagements, including those at Loos, Vermelles, Arras and Ypres, where he was wounded and invalided home. After his recovery he was sent to Salonika, and was in action on the Doiran Struma and Vardar fronts. He was demobilised in January 1919, and holds the 1914 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
