NEVILLE ORMONDE BUTLER – WRIGHT,, L.-Corpl., No. 324, 5th Battn. The London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) 3rd s. of William Butler-Wright, of 122, Clapton Common, London, N., by his wife, Henrietta Louisa, dau. of William Mulligan, of Bainbridge, near Belfast; and brother to 2nd Lieut. V. A. Butler-Wright (q.v.); b. at Dharwar, India; educ. Tottenham Grammar School; was Registrar for Chaffers Gold Mining Com-pany; volunteered for foreign service and enlisted on the declaration of war in Aug. 1914; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from Nov., and was killed in action in the trenches at Armentières 26 April, 191 , being shot through the head by a sniper; unm.
