Durham; b. Southwick-on-Wear, co. Durham, 31 March, 1891; educ. National Schooi there; was employed at Pickersgill&#8217;s Yard, Sunderland, and resided at 43, Wear Street, Southwick, and had been for five years a member of the Durham Territorial R.G.A.; enlisted 10 Sept. 1914, for the period of the war; trained at Chatham and in Ireland; went to the Dardanelles with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, and died 15 Aug. 1915, of wounds received in action at Suvla Bay; unm.
