Newbigging, Musselburgh, Midlothian. 27 Dec. 1892; educ. Public School there was a Pottery Worker; enlisted in the Scots Guards 6 June, 1917: served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 20 Sept., and was killed in action at Villers Pol 4 Nov. following.
