(Scottish) The King&#8217;s (Liverpool Regt.), s. of George Batteley, of 31, Ilchester Road, Seacombe, Wallasey, Warehouseman, by his wife, Elizabeth; and brother to Private F. Betteley (q.v.); b. Seacombe aforesaid, 29 Nov. 1897; educ.
