London, 1891 educ. there joined the Territorials some time previous to the outbreak of war was called up on mobilization in Aug. 1914; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 1916 subsequently proceeded to Egypt, and was killed in action there 2 Nov. 1917. Buried where he fell. He m. at Tottenham. N.. in Dec. 1911. Adelaide (116, Welbourne Road. Tottenham. N.), dau. of George Clarke, and had three children: John.
