Public School there was a Cabinet Maker enlisted in Nov. 1900; served 12 years with the Colours and afterwards in the Reserve; was called up on mobilization 4 Aug. 1914; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from that month, and was killed in action 1 April, 1918. Buried where he fell.
