Alyth, co. Perth, 26 April, 1889; educ. Public School there; was a Carpenter; came from Canada in Dec. 1914; enlisted in the Royal Engineers 25 Jan. 1915; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 8 Sept. following: was reported wounded and missing after the fighting at Ep\u00e9hy 22 March, 1918, and is now assumed to have been killed in action on or about that date.
