Cuthbert G C P Rfn 5th London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) With Colour Added<\/p><\/div>\n

CUTHBERT, GEORGE CHARLES PRAWL, Rifleman, No. 4397, 1\/5th Battn. Lewis Gun Section (London Rifle Brigade) The London Regt. (T.F.), eldest s. of George Henry Cuthbert, of Ashleigh, Southgate. F.R.H.S., Horticulturist, by his wife, Lucy, dau. of Charles Davis; b. Southgate, co. Middlesex, 4.Oct. 1894: educ. Elstow, Bedford, where he was a member of the Cadet Corps; subsequently entered the firm of Messrs. R. & G. Cuthbert, Horticulturists; enlisted in Feb. 1916; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from the following June, and died at No. 8 Casualty Clearing Station 2 May, 1917, from wounds received in action near Arras. Buried in the English Cemetery at Duisans; unm.<\/p>\n
