Ladywood, Birmingham, 11 Oct. 1898; educ. Sparkbrook aforesaid; was employed by the Birmingham Electric Supply Department; joined the Warwickshire Regt. 24 Oct. 1915; subsequently was transferred to the 1st Surrey Rifles; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from March, and was killed in action near Albert 24 Aug. 1918; unm.
