Kent, 11 April, 1889; educ. London; enlisted in Sept. 1909: served for three years in India; on the outbreak of the European War was stationed at Piershill Barracks, Edinburgh; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from Aug. 1914, and was killed in action 20 July, 1918.
