Barnstaple, 31 Oct. 1900 edue. Blue Coat School there: Joined the Navy in Oct. 1916 was appointed to H.M.S. Bellerophon, and died on H.M. Hospital Ship Classic 5 July, 1918, from meningitis, contracted while on naval service, Buried at Barnstaple. A large Celtic cross has been erected to his memory in Barnstaple Cemetery by his shipmates of H.M.S. Bellerophon: unm.
